About me
My name is Giulio Di Gregorio, I am a filmmaker, videomaker and professional photographer based in Rome. I have worked in photography and video since 2012, and since 2015 I have been full‑time, creating wedding films, restaurant videos, food content, corporate videos and visual productions for brands and businesses.
In my work I combine cinematic storytelling, careful lighting and attention to detail, creating content that authentically tells people, products and brand identities. I collaborate with couples, restaurants, hotels, chefs and companies, producing professional videos and photography both in Rome and in other Italian cities and abroad.
My approach
My style is cinematic, authentic and dynamic. I like to work discreetly, observing what happens and letting moments unfold naturally. Whether it is a wedding, a restaurant or a brand, my goal is always the same: to tell a true story with attention to light, details and atmosphere. Every project is different. That is why my work is similar to a tailor’s: I listen, understand identity and build a bespoke visual story. In my creative process music and images always work together, creating rhythm, emotion and character in the final result.
Wedding Film
In the wedding sector I create cinematic wedding films designed to truly tell the day, not just document it. I have worked in some of Rome’s most important venues such as Villa Miani, Villa Piccolomini and Villa Veientana, as well as destination weddings in Italy including Tuscany and Lake Como, and abroad with weddings in Switzerland and Spain (Mallorca). My goal is to create films that let couples relive the day and discover the moments they often cannot see during the wedding because they happen outside their line of sight.
Food, Brand and Hospitality Video
Alongside weddings I also work extensively in food, beverage and hospitality, collaborating with restaurants, chefs, brands and companies in the gastronomic world. Over the years I have created content for realities such as Gambero Rosso, working with chefs and professionals and taking part in productions linked to events and editorial projects. I have also worked with Food Confidential and Excellent on initiatives related to fine dining. Professional collaborations include productions for Costa Crociere and Bulgari, as well as several Rome restaurants and locations such as Oro Bistrot. I have collaborated with Nerina Di Nunzio, food journalist and founder of Food Confidential, creating content for food and hospitality projects. I am also a certified sommelier (FIS and AIS), which allows me to tell food stories with an even more informed eye. I create food videos, food photography, product videos and visual content for restaurants, hotels and brands with a cinematic approach focused on elevating the product and the experience.
Publications and editorial collaborations
Over the years some of my photographs have been used for editorial features, press releases and publications in magazines and portals in the food and hospitality sector. The images created for restaurants, chefs and food‑related projects have been published on several platforms and outlets, as well as other magazines and portals dedicated to gastronomy and hospitality.
